We've completely redesigned how you configure file connectors, making it faster and more intuitive to set up sources from S3, Google Drive, Azure, and other file systems.

This redesign addresses feedback we heard from users struggling with deeply nested folder structures and unclear configuration options. Setting up file sources with complex filtering requirements is now significantly faster.

What's improved

New folder browser Navigate large directory structures with a breadcrumb-style browser that replaces the old tree view. Use search, direct path input, or click through columns to find folders quickly.

All configuration in one place File filters (date-based, whitelist/blacklist patterns) have moved from the sidebar into the main flow. Everything you need is visible at once.

File Upload sources now support two powerful new capabilities: previewing files before upload and uploading multiple files at once.

What's new

Preview files before uploading You can now see your files in their native format—Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, CSVs—before uploading them. This helps you confirm you're uploading the right files and understand their structure before processing begins.

Multi-file upload You can now upload multiple files in a single action, both when creating a new source and from the source detail tab.

Refreshed upload interface The upload screen features a cleaner layout that makes it easier to select files, preview them, and configure settings.

We've rebuilt how the Flow Canvas handles complex workflows. As flows have grown more sophisticated with linked flows, multi-branch logic, and orchestrated dependencies, we've reimagined how these relationships are displayed to make navigation more intuitive.

The canvas has been rebuilt from the ground up, with new layouts for linked flows, improved spacing for multi-branch flows, and dozens of smaller refinements.

Highlights

Full screen flow view with instant navigation Open any flow in full screen, then toggle back to your flow list with a single click for seamless navigation between views.

More compact linked flow display Related and orchestrated flows now stack vertically in a clean list. Click to expand any relationship when you need details—everything else stays compact and organized.

Clearer multi-branch flow layouts Complex flows with multiple branches now center the source with branches radiating outward. The improved spacing makes it easier to follow flow logic at a glance.

This sets the stage for more canvas improvements coming in future releases.

We've completely redesigned Flow Logs to make debugging and monitoring flows faster and more intuitive. Previously, getting to logs required multiple clicks, and navigating between runs was cumbersome. The new experience provides immediate access to logs and makes it easy to troubleshoot issues.

What's improved

One-click access to logs Flow logs are now accessible directly from the flow list view with an "Explore Flow Logs" button, showing you the latest logs immediately without extra navigation.

Easy navigation between runs Switch between different flow runs with a dropdown selector that shows all recent runs with their timestamps. No more hunting through history to find the run you need.

Smart filtering and sorting Filter logs by severity (error, warning, info) to quickly find issues. Sort chronologically or reverse-chronologically—newest logs appear at the top by default so you always see the latest activity.

Better log formatting Click any log line to see better-formatted content that's easier to read and copy.

We're introducing a new way to interact with your organization's data through NOVA—the Nexla GenAI chatbot!

In the new NOVA chatbot interface, users can directly query their organization's data to obtain rapid, thorough, and accurate insights, expediting workflows by consolidating the data analysis process.

🔸  Harness the power of RAG & LLMs
When a query is submitted, NOVA uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to provide comprehensive responses based on the selected data and any available metadata and/or other contextual information. RAG combines the power of search algorithms with the capabilities of large language models (LLMs), producing complete, accurate, and easily understandable responses.

🔸  Setup is easy
Initializing a NOVA session requires a service key, which users can generate via a simple one-step process in the Nexla UI. Once generated, this service key is stored in the user's account and can be reused to initialize all future NOVA sessions.

🔸  Query data from REST APIs, SQL databases, & vector databases
NOVA can be used to directly query detected and transformed Nexsets containing data from REST API sources, SQL databases, and vector databases.

• Overview: The first screen shown after login displays at-a-glance statistics and flow information about the user's account. From here, links allow users to dive deeper into details or jump directly into an associated task.
• Integrate: This section is the hub for creating and modifying data flows. Easily ingest, transform, and send data from anywhere to anywhere, all in one place.
• Discover: Here, users can find all accessible Nexsets. Nexsets are now searchable, giving users a quick and efficient way to find and use any needed data.
• Collaborate: The Nexla platform provides granular access controls for every data flow and component. Now, the Collaborate section makes understanding and managing these accesses simple.
• Monitor: All of Nexla's robust monitoring information and functions can be accessed in this section. Users can complete any troubleshooting or governance task directly within the screens available in the Monitor section.

Nexla is excited to be a Day 1 launch partner for Google’s new AlloyDB for PostgreSQL. AlloyDB is a new open-source database engine built on PostgreSQL for top-tier relational database workloads, for better performance and analytics while being fully compatible with the popular open-source PostgreSQL.
