A brand new Nexset Designer!

We are delighted to share an early holiday gift with you! When you login to your Nexla account you will see an upgraded Nexset Designer for data transformations. This is a big upgrade that brings an even easier and more powerful transform system applying elements both from user feedback and our product vision. A full tutorial for the new interface available to watch here Some of the highlights we are excited about include:
  • Nexset Rules: Transformations, Filters, Validations, Annotations all come together into a single entity as Nexset Rules.
  • Transform : Easy visibility in Nexset details view removes the need to pause/edit Nexset to see the transforms, filters, validations applied to a Nexset.
  • Save and Continue: Save rules for a Nexset as you work to create transforms in Nexset Designer, not just when closing the session.
  • No code transforms for Arrays and Nested Objects: By popular demand, even more advanced capabilities within reach of everyone.
  • Output Data Schema gets better with ability to hoist new attributes up to the root level. This also up-levels multi-value lookups
  • Recommendations for data transformations are here.

Nexla CLI v3.1.2 is Live!

Nexla's CLI (Command Line Interface) for developers got a major overhaul with new features, capabilities, and quality of life fixes. Check it out on the Nexla Developer Center.

What is a CLI?

Nexla's CLI is a powerful tool for developers to work with Nexla data and flows, available as a Python library, in the terminal of your choice. For super-users or those that need to create their own batch automations, the CLI makes it easy.

Google BigQuery Streaming Upgrade

Google BigQuery's batch loading limit is 150,000 records a day. However, one of our customers - a top national retail brand (see below) - started to surpass that.

Using Nexla's flexible template connectors, we were able to create a streaming connector to Google BigQuery with an uncapped limit, pushing records in real time!

Real-time Flow and Nexset Stats

Enhanced statistics and metrics are now available on all flows and Nexsets, enabling up-to-the-minute tracking of records processed, errors, and more. Check any flow for records numbers and errors at a glance.

Click the magnifying glass on any Nexset for a more granular view of Records, Volume, and Errors over time.

Datasets are now called Nexsets

Datasets are now called Nexsets in the Nexla UI. Over past few months, Nexla's Datasets have become very powerful in a way that goes far beyond the notion of basic Datasets. This meant the time had come to flip the switch on their name in the UI. In Nexsets, features like documentation, annotations, schema, error management, and validations are now just click of a button away. We have preserved all the underlying functionality that you have come to love.
